Two Graduations and an Anniversary and....

June is always an insane month for parents, but this June was particularly insane for me. We're talking two kid graduations (college; grade eight); my in-laws' 60th wedding anniversary; a minor car accident (a motorcyclist ran into the side of my vehicle and then tried to extort money from me: I know, it would make a great short film); winding up my term on two boards of directors (Professional Writers Association of Canada and YWCA Peterborough Victoria Haliburton); speaking at a major conference (MagNet 2011: Magazines Canada's annual conference for writers, editors, and publishers) and launching The Mother of All Pregnancy Books: Second Canadian Edition (book excerpt) in Toronto and Peterborough.

And I also re-launched this website.

I'm still adding links on an almost daily basis. I still have dozens of links I want to add to the blogs page. I simply haven't had time to build out that page as much as I would like yet. (See above.) But compared to how this blog was looking six weeks ago (with its 1999 design still in place)? We've come a long way baby blog!
